EPC + Check Engine lights

I have an '02 Jetta and About 2 weeks ago my check engine light popped on so I took it down to a mechanic and there were a couple misfire codes including one for my MAF. I had the MAF replaced and 4 days later the check engine light popped on again so I took it back and got a few more misfire codes so I got it tuned up and replaced the spark plugs and wires and everything seems to be ok. Now yesterday as I was driving to work the check engine light came on again as well as the EPC light popped on and off real quick 3 times. I'm tired of dumping money into the car, any suggestions on what is going on?
