'41 Willy's Jeep - 1/24 - Sarge (from the movie Cars 1)

I am a big fan of Cars 1 (Pixar). Some time ago (2006) my son (3y) asked me to build 'Luigi' in a 1/24 scale. Well, I did and I kept on building characters of this movie: Luigi, The King, Mack, Sheriff and now Sarge. I will post the others some other day...

My goal is to make all the habitants of the town Radiator Springs and some important characters of this movie...

I want to see the pics of the others you mention as well.
My son would love it from his perspective, but I would love to see it from a modelers perspective as well!

I have similar thoughts..... Now with the recent release of Mobeous 1952 Hudson it should be possible to have a Doc Hudson.... Lightening McQueen remais a challenge however. I was thinking about converting a Revell Ferrari 360 Modena to model L. McQueen.... any suggestions?

Almost all of the characters can be build because almost all of them have a 1/24 or 1/25 model. But McQueen.... No way... He's a non-excisting car. So building him is quite a challenge. He is a mix of mulltiple cars. So converting will be needed. But what base? I do not know. They told me it's a Ford gt40 LeMans as a base... But I don't know. I have a 1/24 diecast in here that I will adjust. I know, some shortcut but the best thing to do I think...
