check engine light

98 lesabre 179k miles check engine light on.they tell me they get a code po171 which is a left bank is running lean.What is the most common problem with this code,thank you all.

Because of age/mileage, it's probably bad plastic, rubber, seals, or gasket.

Preform a smoke test to pin point the cause, and focus on the EGR, PCV, and air intake systems for leaks.

Do a Google ''youtube diy car scotty cigar''

Use a Black & Mild shorty for 50cents, and a recycled plastic bag for the air filter to block all air incoming into the engine.

Yeah, I wouldn't smoke my Habanas for this.
