2001 Jetta 1.8 T makes noise

Hi ,

purchased a 2001 Jetta (95.000 mls ) makes a noise when I drive it ,gets louder the faster I go . Replaced the old tires ...still the same. While driving put the gear in neutral..still there. Noise starts at about 25-30 mls.
Any idea what it can be ?

put in 2 new rear ballbearing hub assy`s ...Jetta drives like new.
