2005 Grand Prix GT factory alarm goes off by itself

I have a weird problem. Both of my keyless entry remotes stopped working but once in a while when I walk up to the car the alarm starts going off like if the panic button is stuck on my remote. I have an aftermarket radio with PAC adapters that was installed months ago but didn't have any problems then with it. Anyone have any idea whats going on?

Thanks for the help

Maybe one of them is still working.....stand next to the car and try a panic button.....if that button works but the rest don't, try this: stand next to the car and depress the lock and unlock buttons at the same time and hold for at least 30 seconds.....if the horn chirps or the locks cycle, release the buttons....now see if remote works...if it does, it was just out of synch....

If they stopped working, are they still on your key chain? Remove them, and remove the batteries....the covers just pry apart.....see if that takes care of the problem....

Well I pulled the remote apart and found out that the metal clip with the battery in it broke off so it must have made contact once in a while to set the alarm off. I swapped chips out with the other remote for now and everything works good again. I should be able to re-solder the clip right?
