2001 T&C overhead garage door button
Hello,
My engine blew, and so i replaced with a used engine. I was wondering if that would make my overhead garage door button not work. if so, is there anything i can do to get that to work? thx

Figuring that you had your battery disconnected during the engine swap, reprogram the button.

i have tired. it isn't excepting code. I have tried that 4 differ. times... and including disconnecting battery and reconnecting it to see if that would help. Could this be because of the different engine, but didn't change the computer?

The last one I did, I had to hold the opener right up against it before the code would get captured.

Re: 2001 T&C overhead garage door button
can you clear all the homelink programs and start over? think you have to hold first and third position for a minute, it will say erased, and then can try to reprogram. i ran into this problem when the transmission was replaced.
