Hey guys,
For some reason my 2006 F250 has been leaking transmission fluid lately when it sits. I am from Michigan, but I am going to school in Florida currently, and my dad is telling me it is still leaking 6 months later. There is so much leaking, in fact, that it is killing grass. What I am wondering is how is this possible? I added some fluid and overfilled it a long time ago, but how is it leaking that much? When I come home and drive it, the level is still at full and the transmission temp stays constant at 160 F. No shudders, or problems shifting. If I drive it at all, it stops leaking for about a week after I leave, and then my Dad calls me again saying it is leaking. Thanks for the help guys. Cheers |

Re: 2006 F250 6.0 Leaking Tranny Fluid
Is this a torqshift trans? can you see where it is leaking from? The only common issue i've seen is the torque converter hub weld can leak when hot.
