Post Power windows work only w doors open

So... I have a 1998 Buick Century, 240,00 miles bought with 20K. It has been very good to me and it's paid for. Three windows work, slowly, only when both front doors are open. I'll have some time to look this week and am looking for some basic advise. I have more time than tools or knowledge. cherrmj Michael

Re: Power windows work only w doors open

I would look for broken wires in the loom between the door and the "A" pillar on both front doors. Repeated open and close flexing will break the wires over time.

Re: Power windows work only w doors open

Are you suggesting cutting the"boot" between the door and body to look at the wires or take the door panels off? The doors only need to be opened a 1/4 inch to activate the "door open" and not opened all the way. Driver window never opens only the other three. Replaced the drivers control module also.

Also,,, Passanger door buzz when I use the open/lock buttons
