Revell Jeep CJ wheels - any other kits?

Hey all. I am looking for what we call in America "Steelies" for a Subaru Brat build I am doing. I have the Revell CJ-7 kit that has these wheels I want but they are used. Seems that the kit is rare and pricey.

Based on the photos here, do any of you know where to get simple 8-spoke steel wheels? 1/24 or 1/25.

Or is any of you have a set of 4 that are not needed?

Thank you.

They did a 1980 Bronco in the same Trucks series that had the same wheels.
Not sure if that is any easier to find.

I think it was boxes as Monogram, and was a 2-in-1 kit.

Ok, I will hunt for that as well then. Thank you.

I actually tried Revell's parts request form as well to see if they may be able to help?

Do you need just the wheels, or do you need the tires too?

Ebay has some listed as Resin 1/24 scale five lug wagon wheels.

Just the wheels.

The ones I found on Ebay are $29.

I do not want to pay that much for these wheels. I could buy another kit for that.

That sounds like that creep PJ Hobbies. Ridiculous prices!!!

Hope to see your BRAT soon! I've getting the decals redone. Mine were all cracked up and didn't mend with decal spray or clear:/ PM me if you want some decals too.

And ye, the Bronco kits have the wagon wheels.

Scared me I thought you meant my real Gen 1 1980 Subaru Brat that I am restoring.

I thought, "hey, this guys knows me on the USMB forums?!"

My decals are good as the kit I got was unbuilt. I am hoping they are fine.

I meant Pj-Toys! I used to be on USMB. Don't think I've ever posted tho. Now just on and off on NASIOC, SubaruOutback, and SubaruForester. Do you have the same screen name? I'm usually some derivative of blubaja.

Ya know I am OCD on NASIOC (when I had my 2011 WRX) and OCD on USMB. I kept Enzoenvy1 here cause I was so envious of Enzo owners back in early 2004.

On a side note. I received this just now from Revell, lol.

Your Revell parts request (#85956) was shipped today. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks for delivery.

If you are located outside the Continental US, please allow up to 4-6 weeks for delivery.

If your parts have not arrived in this timeframe, please do not submit another ticket - you may contact us at [email protected], or call (800)833-3570.

So, I may have gotten some free wheels and hubs from Revell. Pretty cool.

Re: Revell Jeep CJ wheels - any other kits?

I have a set of 4 with tires, i was thinking of resin casting them and some other tires and wheels.

I would also want 2 more tires. Do you have kit number and part number?
Edit: Found it.

Re: Revell Jeep CJ wheels - any other kits?

Well, Revell came through and sent the parts in about 3 days. I am thankful But they only sent me 2 of the outer wheels?! Not going to do me much good.

Such is life. I am trying to get through to them again to see if they can send the rest, lol.

Re: Revell Jeep CJ wheels - any other kits?

So, Revell says that they were the last parts they have for the Jeep CJ-7?!

I am back to square one kind of. Does anyone happen to have two outer wheels by chance?

Thank you.

Have you tried with the same wheel for some other model that have the same? For example the Bronco.
