Aoshima Aventador

This one is done! Gotta say it was a pretty painless build and for the most part went together smoothly. I couldnt get the door stays to work properly (hinge is fine, but the stick that holds the door in the up position.. couldnt get it to work!), so u may see a blutac blob holding the doors up in the pics.

Build thread is here:

Really excellent build - I so want this kit now, it seemed through all your WIP that Aoshima have done a great job.

Re: Aoshima Aventador

Nice work! That flat black looks expertly applied and makes the car look menacing! Just one minor thing: I'd weather the exhaust outlets within the decorative frame.

Looks really cool! The flat black makes it look even more like a stealth fighter.

Re: Aoshima Aventador

thanks for the comments guys. I left the number plates off because they would detract from the stealth look, far too white. And not so keen on the plates that say aventador

Re: Aoshima Aventador

I was just wondering...what brand and color of paint did you use for the 'Nero Nemesis' (flat black) and what brand of paint did you use for the wheels?

I've got the same kit and plan on doing the same color scheme plus one in 'Arancio Argos'...metallic red/orange.

Thanks in advance,

Dan

Re: Aoshima Aventador

Hey mate, the body is painted with Gunze Mr Color spray number 33 (flat black) which goes on like a dream. The wheels are Tamiya spray TS-14 (black)
