1998 plymouth voyage

My daughter just purchased the voyager in question and it did not come with an owner's manual. Could someone please tell me which fuse controls the passenger side rear power window? Just wanted to add that there is no fuse box cover for the under dash box,so no help there.

The fuses are located in the engine compartment on the driver's side. There's a black box that says "Intergrated Power Module". The fuses are in there. I don't remember which fuse is which, but if the rear vent window is the only thing not working, I doubt it's the fuse. They would not have a fuse just for that one item. More likely it's the motor.

Or the switch and possibly but not likely the wiring in between.

All windows get their power from 2 PTC's located in the body computer. 1 supplies power for opening 1 for closing. The vent window motors on these are problematic.

Sorry, I've gotta correct this one. On 3rd gen vans (96-00) fuses are in two locations. Behind the dash down low to the left of the steering column on what's called the junction block and under the hood in a fuse panel labeled "Power Distribution Center", better known as the PDC. The "Integrated Power Module" better known as the IPM and located under the hood became the sole fuse location starting with 4th generation (01-07) vans.

There is no individual fuse for either vent window. As jpb53 stated, PTCs (on the junction block) control power to them but if one was tripped open it would effect all of your windows. Most likely the brushes in the vent window motor are shot. If 12vdc is at the vent window motor connector with the switch thrown and the ground is good, change the motor.

Thanks for the correction, RIP. This is why I believe this is the best forum out there!

I forgot that they changed the PDC to an IPM. It has been a while since I sold my '97.

Still, we both agree that it's most likely a motor problem.

I just hope when I get it wrong someone puts it right.

PDC to the IPM to the TIPM - 3rd, 4th, 5th generation progression and boy have they blown it with the TIPM. It's causing many headaches for 2008-2012 owners plus it has to be programed to the van when replaced. Thank you Chrysler.

Yup, vent window motor. Those things are about as cheap as cheap can be. Both of mine are dodgy at times.
