changing tire wheel/tire size
my Cavalier has 195-65/15 tires and I was given a set of factory Cavalier wheels and tires that are 205-55/16. Should these be a direct swap or would I have to chang parts of the suspension?

Re: changing tire wheel/tire size
205/55/16s fit just fine. There is a very slight difference between the sport and non-sport models. My '04 base model has 205/55/16s on it and they are fine, except on full-lock turns to the left and going over a bump at high speed, when the right front tire just barely touches the frame.

Re: changing tire wheel/tire size
I ran 225/40-18 and did not rub. 38mm offset 8" wide wheels.
You'll be fine.
