Sounds like a suction under dash when pushing pedal and brake light is still on.

first you must bleed the right rear then left rear then right front then left front. each time you make sure the brake res. is full.

then if you still have a soft pedal you must do the master cylinder bleed proceedure.

you need 2 people . one to power the brake pedal the other to bleed. the brake pedal must not go to floor hard/avoid this. small pumps until high hard then open bleed screw slowly small amounts of fluid when the squirt drops down close fast . then repeat until the fluid is clear and solid. sometimes with rear brakes/lines the air bubble will require a lot of this until it gets out. [air traped in the middle of the line]

if you allowed too much fluid to leak out when replacing LINE this is whats gonna happen.

all 4 corners bled again. Nice steady fluid out of all. Hard peddle with truck off. After starting, still have brake light on and peddle is mostly to the floor.

brake light on I would say you have a leak. with the engine running you will have more pressure to create a leak.

did you get the res level too low ? if so you must bleed the master. I would also bleed with the vehicle engine running next time. more pressure my be required to reset the red brake failure light .

I actually bled the first time with the truck running.
The master was really low. not sure how to bleed
