Hi jgray, welcome to the forum!
I bet they stop working when you select either position form 1-4 on the A/C control and will start working again when selecting 5. That's the usual symptom of a failing ignition switch. There is a walkthrough to replace it in the Tips and Maintenance section of this forum!. Oscar.
