Mystery Connector 2007

Found this connector under the hood, in the hood latch bracket. Any ideas?
Test connector?

The only thing that is in that area, that I can remember, is a latch switch(which tells the PCM if the hood is latched).....maybe the options for this vehicle doesn't have one, but the universal harness does.....
