Fan blower issue

1995 Isuzu Rodeo.

My heater blower does not work. I pulled the connector to the resister behind the glove box and couldn't find any current going to it. I had the key on. I checked and also replaced the blower fuse in the box under the hood (just in case) and checked all the fuses in the fuse box by the driver's door.

Is there somewhere else I should check to see why I don't have any power going to the resister?

Re: Fan blower issue

Update: I took the blower out and connected it directly to the battery and it works. However, I noticed that it doesn't turn freely if I try to spin it.

I put it back in and used my multimeter to see if I had 12 volts to the resistor wires and there is nothing. I had the key turned on too.

I'm going to buy a resister and put that in anyway. I checked and rechecked the fuse under the hood and switched the starter and blower relays and still nothing.

The next place to check will be the fan switch itself.

Re: Fan blower issue

Update: bought a new resistor at a Honda stealership for $53.00 and that cured was the problem.

Thanks for the input everyone!
