Done. To see larger images, click on them. Enjoy!

@ianc911: Thanks for translation!

I plan to make sort of diorama with this model. "Classic car restoration workshop" or something like that. Model will stay put apart (in the middle of restoration, engine and transmission out,...), therefore many details will be seen on finished model as well.

Re: Porsche 911S, 1969

HALFSHAFT, AXLE

Fujimi's parts were not good enough. I scratchbuilded new axles. "Rubber parts" are made using teflon tape.

BELT

For better looking belt you need a sharp knife, isolation tape and 10 minutes of time.

To get accurate thickness, use 2-3 layers of tape, one above another. Then just cut it to proper width. It's really easy task to do, but the result is wonderful.

IGNITION COIL

Slightly improved. There are also some additional decals.

CABLES

Thanks to good Fujimi's design of spark plugs wireing wasn't such pain in the ass as usual..

CARBURETORS

Lots of improvements were dome here. In total I added to original parst approx. 80 parts!!

Trace of rust can be found here and there to achieve more realism.

AIR FILTER

Hole on the lower side of it was filled vith plastic and putty. Layer or Tamiya semigloss black. Placing of decal followed and above it few coats od semigloss clear.

And now, some extreme detailing. At the start even I wasn't convinced in success at that task. But I made it! Furthermore, I'm actually very, very satisfied with the result!

Actually yes, it inspired me to finally publish progress. I also started with Corel-Draw design of decals I intend to print on special decal paper. Those, printed on normal paper looks way too thick... I'll replace them with thinner ones.

Nice work, but I can't believe those air filter clips. Incredible!

I hope you can still see...

Everything looks great and I'll agree with Ianc that those clips are incredible. I would go crazy trying to make those.
