airbag light, 04 SE

has anybody had their airbag light come on? my g/f drives a titan, only because she likes the nfl team and nissan's (go figure, with gas $ so high). her airbag light stays on, and i wonder if i could reset it with a code reader?there are no other lights on. i don't think the computer monitors it, but i could be wrong. any ideas or suggestions from anyone on how i can get this light off, other than take it to the stealer? thx in advance!

If your truck is a king cab, there is a recall on the rear door harness. This recall is not for the crew cab trucks. You can call 1-800-nissan-1 and give them the vin# of your truck and they can tell you if the recall needs to be done to your truck. But since I work for a "stealership" I guess I'll have to charge you for this information. PM me your bank account number.

Is it the passenger airbag light or the drivers side? You can try putting the truck in to diagnostic mode and it see if it will clear the drivers side for you. If it is the passenger side it should turn off if someone is in the seat.
