Nordic Bus

I built this Revell London Bus with finnish Model show ads. It has also finnish lisence plates to tell that she´s not working in London anymore. Mostly bus is straight from the box, but there is some places where I did some extra work. Interior is straight from the box, but it´s weathered like the exterior. Engine is the place where I love to do some extra things. There is fuel lines, oil lines, springs and so on. There was a little problem with radiator grille, so I fixed it with some panel scriber and etched mesh. All paints are Tamiya akrylics. Weathering is done with MIG pigments and fluids. Base is made of gypsum by me.

Re: Nordic Bus

Nice change of pace. I hope that engine isn't completely hidden from view.

Re: Nordic Bus

Well done! The engine is especially impressive. I'd love to see bigger pictures, though.

Re: Nordic Bus

I built a mould out of Legos. Then I press some play-dough to mould and press those stone marks on it stone by stone. Then I cast allmost 2 litres of gypsum over it and let it dry. Rest is painting and pigments and very small cigarette stubs.
Interior is basically stock, but I did weathered it with Tamiya weathering masters and Mig pigments and some dirty spots with different paints. Engine is quite well hidden, but not completely.

Bus is about 40cm long and 16cm high. But in the work table, it´s quite big to handle.
