Arrow Your 2007 G6 Hankook tires

How have your Hankook Optimo H725A tires held up? They seem to be the least expensive tire I can find around here (Pep Boys). They are the OEM tire on my G6 and I will probably have to replace them in a year or so.

Hankook tires? I don't recall the 6 having that brand. I know that they mostly have the goodyear ls2 tires which aren't the best in the world. I think the other tires they put on are Continentals. You could always look up the tire on Tirerack.com and see what other people think of them.

Re: Your 2007 G6 Hankook tires

I purchased my 2007 G6 new in June 2007 and it has 17" Hankook Optimo H725A tires on it. Although I've only got 11,300 miles, I've experienced no problems. I've heard of some issues existing with front tires wearing unevenly on G6's, but my tires show no signs of this at 11,300 miles. Hope you find this usefull.

Re: Your 2007 G6 Hankook tires

UPDATE , I've still got the original tires on my G6 and now have 55,400 miles on those Hankook H725A tires. They have very little wear, have worn evenly and may very well last another 25K. I difficulty believing how well these tires have held up ! When these tires finally do need replacing, I plan on replacing them with the same OEM tires.

If you want to get the max life on your tires, always check pressures, and rotate them every 6000 miles....

Also, front end components and alignment need to be checked for proper tire wear.....front and rear struts/shocks should be checked( to prevent cupping)....
