Porsche 936/78 LM Jacky Ickx, Tamiya with Plafit Chassis

Here is a Tamiya kit (number 24012) wich I transformed into a slotcar.
I did some little detailing including the weathering like halfway the Le Mans race.
The chassis is a German Plafit chassis with a Mabuchi motor.
The driverfigure is from DiSo with a resin helmet.
I put a vizor on wich realy works and painted the helmet in Jacky's color.

Thanks for looking
Maurits

Do they build it for real? or it just a model car but they did not build it I wonder what would be the use of that thing in the top.
