stabilizer bar size

HI all

I have to replace the stabilizer bar bushings on my 2000 3.8. I know they come int 22.5 and 20.5 (and stupidly I've replaced them before but can't remember which size it is )...can anyone refresh me?

Re: stabilizer bar size

For some reason....at least for my '96, they list 2 different sizes......pretty darn close.
I found that the dealership "should" be able to tell which one from your Vehicle Idendification Number (VIN).

Re: stabilizer bar size

ya the good news is that with a difference between 20.5 and 22.5, if you bought the wrong sized bushings it's very evident when you put them on the stabilizer bar (way too big or won't fit) so you'll quickly figure out if you've got the right size.

For sure mine is 20.5mm Don't honestly know why they'd make 2 different ones.
