Tamiya Honda MB50Z 1/6 complete

I bought a Honda MB5 (US model name) from Glendora Honda for $399 back in 1982 when I was fifteen years old. It was a great first bike and totally bullet-proof. It was a pleasure building it in 1/6 scale, especially with the close knowledge about how everything is supposed to look and fit together. There were quite a few differences between this kit and my bike that were incorporated (no fairing, fewer stickers, and different colors for certain parts).
This is a great kit with lots of realism and very true to the original bike. My only complaint is the mismatch on the mold halves. They were shifted by ~.25mm in some cases; not what I have come to expect from a great company like Tamiya.

Hi Brian, the MB is looking good fella .

Did you manage to get the decals sorted out OK for this project?

Makes me want to dig mine out and give it a go now .

Thanks GPZ, I'm pleased with how it turned out. Really brings back memories!

The scan you sent me worked perfectly. I managed to print the instrument panel on glossy photo paper and it worked very well. My printer doesn't seem to play well with the decal paper I had on hand.
