Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33) Calsonic JGTC Race Car.
Dead proud of how this one turned out! I took some pics of it with the road version, R32 and R34, and then my 3 Calsonics.
I had planned on dechroming the wheels but previous attempts with spare chrome parts didn't fare well. The primer seemed to react with the steering wheel giving it a fuzzy appearance, but that was good as I was gonna flock it anyway. Please tell me what you think and improvements that can be made and stuff ![]() Thanks for looking! -Tomo ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Re: Nissan Skyline GT-R (R33) Calsonic JGTC Race Car.
You're getting better with each as this one demonstrates. Overall it looks good and there are only a couple of things I'd point out. The paint looks like it could use some more polishing to smooth it out a little. The window on the drivers side looks like you may have used a marker of some sort to color the black. I'd go over it again because it's transparent in a couple of places. Other than that, nice job on a cool car.

When I work on my next one I'll break out the polish. I was just afraid to polish this one because of the decals. Though I should probably polish BEFORE I put them on. -Tomo |
