Making silver cars more noticeable in stormy weather
I have a sliver vehicle that seems to blend in with the grey asphalt and grey sky. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to make it easier to spot by other drivers, thus making it more safe? Do they make flourescent tape that is okay to use on cars and won't take the finish off? I tried to find ornaments for car antennas at auto parts stores, but they don't seem to carry them anymore.

Re: Making silver cars more noticeable in stormy weather
This is exactly why some manufactuers include daytime running lights as standard equiptment. If your car does not have DRL, mount a fog lamp kit and wire the relay so that the signal wire is connected to the fuel pump power. I did this on an Olds Achevia and they worked fine. Aim the lights low so they do not blind oncoming drivers. If your vehicle has DRL, don't defeat them.
