I had some serious problem after the 1st clear painting. However, after some weeks the trouble eased off by itself and I painted the 2nd clear. I have sanded the cowlings and will paint clear one more time. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I finished the other parts except cowlings. I'm sorry for posting photos with little change. ![]() ![]() Hope you like it. Comments are welcome. |

Just floored... I found myself reminding that i'm not looking at a real machine. And had to hold myself back from smashing my NSR500.
Would you have links to couple very hires shots from above?

BTW I'm not sure what you exactly mean "Would you have links to couple very hires shots from above?". I'm sorry for my poor English. Quote:

Yongun - How do you keep the motorcycle so clean for the pictures - mine always have little pieces of dust and small lint on them that are attracted by static electricity. Also where did you get the diagram for the routing of the wires? - Thank you - John

![]() I was just asking for larger photos, so i could see more details. But it's ok, i saw them on your blog. Just incredible! I'm just starting to work on a 1:32 model and finding very hard to get to such level of detail. What is your preferred method of working? Magnifying lamp/glass combo or one of those head-worn magnifying glasses? Thank you for taking your time and your responses.

That really is stunning work, so clean, crisp and precise. Looks like you had some issues with the clear but that should look nice once re-cleared and polished out.
Outstanding work. ![]()

I clean them before I take photos. I used to use paint brush or blower. ![]() I recently bought a cleaning brush from Tamiya. ![]() It's quite good item except it's price. For wiring, I refer to the topstudio's instructions for other season's version of M1 detail set as well as for 2005 version(they are definitely very good references and you can get it from their website) and photos in the book - Moto GP Racer's Archive 2005. I think I've examined those photos for years. ![]() Quote:

YongGun- thank you for the response on how you keep the model so clean. I also have the Tamiya cleaning brush - I will use your recommendation and try the air blower - John

Re: YAMAHA YZR-M1 2005 GAULOISES No.46
Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhh.... Feeling your pain, Park. Same just happened to me, but on a much larger scale.
Can you heat the cowling and push them out without ruining the paint?
