Quadrajet help

I took my quad.apart to rebuild .i have two , inch & a half tub like parts that fell out when i turned the carb. Up side down, i dont no were they go...they are thin and gas or air must go through them.i check the internet and have 5 different diagrams, cant find them on any of them.helpppp 82 camaro 305

I suggest that before you started this you buy the re-build kit and ensure the proper diagram comes with the kit.

go to a scrap yard and pick another carb . do not place upside down .

Metering rods they were....thank you... i have one other problum i have a small steel rod about 3/4 of a inch long and 1/8 in. Round would you know what that is,and were it goes...

that should be to hold / pivot the float
