Question...LE Mans Racing done Cheap?

Hi!

New to the group but not new to racing here.
This was an idea I have but wanted to see if people are interested.

The idea is this, you get a spec chassis but your allowed to use any shocks, springs, tires (tires would need to fit on 15 X 8 wheels that are provided) and you can design your own body (bring back some innovation back to racing).

Cost limit would be under 20K (including buying the chassis)

You can build a Formula (wing) type car or a (non-wing) Spoiler car (can-am).

There would be ten races for the season; four 3 hour events, four 6 hour events, a 12 hour mid season event and the final race a 24 hour event.

Would like your thoughts and interest.
