Fuel Neck Rubber Hose?

Does anyone know the dimensions of the rubber part of the fuel filler? I want to replace mine as I think it is the source of the fuel leak I have while filling the tank. I should have just replaced it while I had the tank out during the fuel pump replacement, but figured it would be ok. No one around here has any clue, so I was hoping to get the piece before tearing the truck apart again.

Thanks in advance.

the fuel filler tube is a hose in a hose. the inner smaller hose is for the fuel to go in to the tank. the outer larger hose is for the vapor to come out .

this is about 250.00 to replace. if you have a leak in this area it maybe the metal portion of the filler neck that holds the fuel cap.

it may be possible to use a metal mender epoxy to repair the hole at the weld area. the hoses are very durable unless thes have been cut .

Actually, the one on my truck has a separate vapor line that is smaller outside of the main filler neck. The filler attaches to the bed side and there is a small section of rubber from that which connects to the tank.

Since I forgot to post this earlier, I'm working with a 1998 Silverado Z71.

something that old go to scrap yard. you may indeed have a problem finding new one .also the cost will be too much

if the metal portion has a hole the epoxy metal mender or marine tex works very good.
