Is there a way to tell what Factory Stereo-radio came in a 01 lincoln ls

I have a 2001 LS V8. When i got the car it had a single din aftermarket radio installed. I would really like to go back to the factory stereo to utilize the stereo controls on the steering wheel. Not to mention the stereo they install is Garbage!

I wasn't sure if just any stereo from an 01 will work or has to be what the car came with ,to match up to the factory harness.

Is there some way I can find out what was originally in the car?

steering wheel controls have a mute button on top, Volume buttons in the middle, and a media button on the bottom. Not sure if this helps at all

Any head unit from 01 should work.
