Looking to get a 91 and up Firebird or camaro
Ive found several ranging from a v8 in new york for 3500 bucks to v6s at like 3-4k.
My question is I want to get atleast 250 hp from the car. I know the 3.8s are around 200 hp, the v8 im looking at is 285 so that solves that problem. I just hate the idea of 16 mpg city lol. I love the look of trans ams and camaros I always did. If anyone knows of a cheaper car like a cavalier, sunfire, or grand am which I could drop like 1k in the motor and get like 250-300 hp and still retain decent gas mileage I would be interested in doing that also. Or are there any mods I could do to a 96 v8 that will improve the gas mileage by like 1-2 mpg city? Im just afraid I will get the car and then the rising price of gas will eat me alive. Any advice is appreciated |
