Re: Ferrari 308 GR4

Hello
Great news I got today finished decals.Excellent print quality.

I painted the body two days ago. Blue - is the TS 44.
Blue is different on different photos and I was guided by these photos .

The red car will have some of the blue decal and in the lower body and front bumper painted TS 44
I am very worried about the color blue decals, but the manufacturers have made great.

This body is painted and the hood - a decal

This is a blue decal on the body red.

I am pleased with the result.

Re: Ferrari 308 GR4

Waow, absolutely beautiful !! seeing both car side by side is pure enjoyment !
Colors are good, TS-47 is a good match for Pioneer livery and the best choice possible as tamiya colors are the easiest to find for most of us.
Decals are great, perfect cover of the red and perfect TS-47 match, I'm impressed !

Re: Ferrari 308 GR4

Hello .
I started gluing decals. Red is more complicated, with her and started. The front bumper and lower body painted TS 44, the rest of decals. The color blue decals are super, but I realized that it would be easier to paint the top line on side.
Pull the decal on the rear fender arch is very difficult. Decal printed with a white solid substrate and may be because of this decals are thicker. But after the drying step is practically no.
This is the only problematic place, everything else was good. Even a thin white stripes with no problems lay in the groove on the body.

Re: Ferrari 308 GR4

It's nice with TS-44 on the lower part and decals on the rest of the car, just hope rear fender decaling isn't too difficult !

Re: Ferrari 308 GR4

Hi guys.
Good news. Today I received photoetching. (Thank you Bob!)

One body is covered with a layer of varnish

The second body in the process of decals .

Decals are not easy work, and it took a long time.
I now have all the parts for the model. I think the kits are ready to be in early - mid-April. I will definitely want to build two models to test and I need to create manual .
