2007 Envoy error code P0411?

My 2007 Envoy SES light came on the other day and this is the code that was pulled.

P0411 - Secondary Air Injection Incorrect Upstream Flow Detected

I am having trouble finding information on this error and what might be the cause and what parts is should start replacing first. The slip that I got from the place that did the scan says.

Circuit relay defective or fuse open
Check connector and wiring
Air Pump defective or hoses blocked

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

ps: did you reset the code and see if the same code comes back a few days later?

I know that the pump is located under the drivers side. Is the circuit relay located under there also?

did you reset the ecu and see if the same code returns?

look for the physical causes first... then go electrical (or just do a quick visual to see if the wires are good/ plugs are connected)

Potential causes of a P0411 code include:

Damaged or missing check valve
AIR pump intake port plugged/damaged
AIR pump clutch malfunction
Holes or damage to exhaust components

When the SES light came on ithe first time P0411 & P0303 came up. I replaced the spark plugs to try and eleminate the miss fire. Then noticed that the cover to the air filter was not sealed all the way. While changing plugs I unhooked the battery which reset the SES light. After on the 4 drive from work to home the SES light came back on. I had it scanned again and only code P0411 came up.

I couldn't find any loose wire connections or hoses. Also checked all releated fuses and didn't find any open.

Should there be suction on the hose that runs along then connects to the air filter compartment. On every start up or only a cold start after sitting 5-6 hours?
