Re: Porsche 936-78

Other quibbly details are that the recognition light appears too large for scale, and the air intake above the driver's head is black in the pic rather than red. Perhaps the difference between the race and restored version again?

Fantastic job nonetheless!

935k3 - Thanks for your reply. I didn't realize that Tamiya re-issued this kit, and it's not on their website any longer. I am going to contact them however, since they've been very helpfull in the past. And thanks for the additonal tips.
Regards, Chuck

If you cannot see the color on the intake than maybe your monitor needs adjustment. There is blue for #6 and red for #5. the light is slightly out of scale but it was about right to the box art. It's good to know we have "experts" around to keep us in line.

Whoa fella, just calm down. You're quite right about the difference between the #5 and 6 cars; I misread the number in the pic posted by fhansen. However, your light is in fact still too big, and I take it 'box art' is not usually what we're aiming for in terms of authenticity. I only mention it in case you hadn't noticed it and might want to remake it.

If you can't take constructive criticism about your work, you might want to reconsider posting it here.

I did say you'd done a fantastic job after all...
