2006 Malibu Maxx shifting hard

I have a 2006 Malibu Maxx ss hatchback, automatic, with 38500 miles on it. It is showing both the check engine light and the no traction control light. The car is shifting hard. It will slow way down, then jump to the next gear hard. I took it in and they replaced the air flow sensor, but the problem came back less than 24 hours later. Any suggestions?

My problem with the check engine light and traction control light
was caused when the air filter was changed and the wire on the MAF
SENSOR connector was pulled out .It was fixed and worked fine.It happen twice, take notice when your air filter is changed.hope this might help.

Re: 2006 Malibu Maxx shifting hard

When doing my air filter, I remove the MAF connector. Some people don't know how.
