May I call you the scratchbuild king now? That's a heck lot of parts to scratch build! I was definitely in awe!
I am assuming you are going to scratchbuild new headlight/tail light lenses. What is your approach on those parts?

Re: 97' to 07' Ford F150 "Conversion"!

Thank's Willimo,Jaxson,Kaho and xam for your comments.
Kaho I'm going to reshape the original kit parts. As the due date has bean moved up, I have little time to go all out on building parts. So I will have to cut some scratchbuilt parts short.
The Tail lights must be hand painted on, that will save me some time.
I had to go back and add some length to the body, as the '07's body from top to bottom is longer than that of the '97.

As you can see, I have scratch built both side door hands.

Like the head lights' I'm using jewels for the Fog lights.

The photo etch grill backing comes form KA Models.

At this time I have the first layer of paint on the body.

It was dry the next day wich is to day so I masked and painted the lower half of the turck.
I also hand painted the fender lips as well.

Re: 97' to 07' Ford F150 "Conversion"!

Ok with out tail lights and detail!

Now with added detail!

The head lights.

These windows were tinted with tamiya clear smoke. The two smaller side windows are made from .015 clear styrene.

Wiper blades are by KA Models. I got them for some of my skyline projects.

The Truck is finished and in the hands of it's new owner., but I have lot's of pphotos to show you next.
