ALMS Flying Lizard Porsche build using Fujimi kit and Studio 27 decals

Has anyone built the ALMS silver & red version of the Flying Lizards Porsche using the Fujimi Porsche kit and Studio 27 decals? I started to build one and I notice the lizard decals seem to short, where they have the cut out for the door handle would make the decals sit to low.

How well does the hood decal line up?

I haven't tried the hood decal, will take a look at that tonight. I thought the Studio 27 decals were specifically for the Fujimi kit.

Fujimi makes a Porsche 997 GT3 R decals by Studio 27 are the Porsche 997 GT3 RSR. Is if it does not error but it is true that S 27 does in size decals errors.
Several times I met with their errors.

Re: ALMS Flying Lizard Porsche build using Fujimi kit and Studio 27 decals

Langhorne63 - search the WIP for "Flying Lizard" builds - there are several of us working on the 2011 LeMans "orange" and "blue" cars - at the bottom of the page you'll see the associated builds - I believe Mike from "scale productions" did a silver and red version, but it was not on the Fujimi GT3R - I believe Mike use a slot car body - there are 3 or 4 of us currently working on the 2011 Flying Lizard cars and we are using combinations of RSR slot car/ GT#R fujimi to do the builds - just search a little and you'll be fine - otherwise PM me and I will send you direct links - hope this helps - John

Re: ALMS Flying Lizard Porsche build using Fujimi kit and Studio 27 decals

Langhorne63 - Mike from "scale productions" did a silver and red "Flying Lizard" but it was a Profil24 kit -http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=972882 - there are several of us on the forum right now working on the 2011 "Flying Lizard" orange and blue Lemans cars that require pieces from the RSR slotcar body and the GT3R Fujimi kit. You're a bit late for the dance because the slotcar bodies have all disappeared as people are wanting them now. look over the forum Sam01contact and Jedi "Nick" - Duncan and myself are working on them maybe more - hope this helps - John
