Used car around 13.5K$
Hi All,
i'm looking to buy a used car around 13.5K$, at the moment i see Hyundai Elantra 2009 or Ford Focus 2010 are the best options. Any idea which is better? Any idea if i'm missing any other option? thanks, D |

Re: Used car around 13.5K$
Your Q is like a survey that will provide answers based on negative or positive thoughts or experience, personally I favor the Focus,,, but then again I could end up buying the Elantra if these were my only choices.
Buying a brand new car consumer reports reviews and ratings is a valid way to shop - buying a used car is all about getting value for your bucks that will outlast your investment, nobody can tell you a car will handle the way you like, you have to find that answer on your own. As a very first step in the buying process test drive both of your choices, I guarantee you will favor one over the other if you follow simple suggestions in this link http://www.usedcartips.org/TESTDRI.html

Between those two I would choose the Focus. Have you given thought to the Mazda3 Hatchback or sedan version. I owned a hatch 5 speed and it was a great car and fun to drive.
