97 Avenger relays

My daughter started having problems with her Avenger occasionally not starting a few months back. Always ran fine after it started. To make a long story short, I accidently discovered the problem was one of the 3 relays mounted on the driver's side fiewall. When the car will not start all you have to do is tap on the relays and it starts right up.

Today I replaced the fuel pump relay which is the far left relay. The car started multiple times and I thought I had it fixed. Tried to start it one more time before I closed the hood and it would not start. Tapped on the relays and it started right up again.

The question is, what are the other 2 relays? They both have part number 83159 stamped into the top. It's hard to find the part when I don't know what to call it. One more thing is has the 6 cylinder engine.

Re: 97 Avenger relays

The middle relay is the ASD (automatic shut down). The far right is the EATX (Electronic Automatic Transmission)
