Buying new car

Can anyone tell me what year buick i would have to buy not to get the problem with the plentum or aiti freeze getting in to engine

I would say 2005 0r newer.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there a few Buick models that kept the 3800 Series II with the plastic plenum beyond 2005, such as the Lucerne? Also, when did they switch to aluminum framed LIM gaskets during production?

You are right i have heard of some 2005 buicks having the same problems with the anti freeze in the engine due to pletum or gaskets thank u guys

2005 started the 3800 111 with the aluminum intake which all but solved the intake leaking issue.
