Figure question

Hello guys!
We'll have a special category in a local race for cars from films. I'd like to build the "old" Bumblebee in a little diorama. But unfortuntely I can't find the most important thing form the dio:

Dio you have an idea where could I buy someting similar (not a problem if i have to reamke some parts). I saw somethin similar in the shop off The Parts Box, but now they're closed.

Re: Figure question

in terms of beauty of female figures, there is only ONE name, from Uk, making the nicest and sexyest figure ever:
Tim Richards and his Phoenix phollies.

The brand today is sold by metal modeles form france (excellent toy soldier producer and painter).U can find the girls he made in the 80s searching in google images.
The figures are approx 80mm scale, so more or less ok for an 1/24 scale model.
They are absolutely stunning in face and body.sexy as hell.

Also Pegaso Models has sexy girls in its fantasy line collection.they also have nice faces and body.U can surely find something really lookalike the beauty from trasformers.

also andrea Miniatures makes nice and sexy figures.this one with some little modification can be also ok for your idea:

Re: Figure question

Yes, the Phoenix figures look great, but the costs are higher, especially if you need 2 figures to make one out of them

Re: Figure question

unfortunately female figures have to be nice and pretty, if not sexy.
Also I choosed in the past something cheaper (from my friend Ulrich Puchala also) and many looked just soldiers or shemales.

With tim richards works it really worth the money since 30 yrs.

So why did you buy cheaper Puchala figures when you know, that Phoenix figures are worth the money since 30 years ????

cause the mythical Ulrich was the only one making also the serious porno stuff,as orgy, bdsm, groupsex scenes, while Tim Richards only made the sexy figures (some suspender belts, some stockings..sexy, not porno).
Ulrich made real hard core stuff, and they always have been a bestseller. In Germany and in Italy.

The main problem he had was poor quality casting and the scale, little smaller than 80mm.Ulrich worked also for Pegaso models when they start the girl production, buying from me all the phoenix I had in the shop.Very skilled modeller indeed.

too kindly fellow, as typical from nearly everyone I know from Munich.

Nowadays,I repeat, they are great but older models, and u see such in small details as dressing of the girls or haircut (who wanna see a Megan fox with the hairs of Teresa Orolwsky?) and for the purpouse of our friend is surely nicer to use something more modern, and unfortunately expensive.

What is needed when someone finish a scene as our firend wanna make, the reaction u want in looking diorama guys is exactly joeyko2000 one.
Difficult to have it if the female part (center focus of all diorama) is looking ugly or tranny.

Re: Figure question

To make the bikini girl for my Toyota Hilux:

I used the Preiser Eve Customizing Figure Set in G scale (I think they also make it in exact 1:24, they make it in many scales).

http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/psr/psr45901.htm

The box is a bit creepy, and it's not exactly easy to find, but you can pose the figures in pretty much any way you want. I used small, cut bits of rolled out (like you're making cookies) Tamiya 2-part epoxy putty with ignition wire to make the bikini, and Ms. Fox isn't wearing much more so I am sure you could do something similar.
