Volvoman: if possible can you inform me when you go see 02R

I would come too (like I did with 007, drive more then 8 hours from Holland to Geneva)

Re: How many McLaren F1s have you seen?

Should ring up number fourteen on my list in the morning if all goes well.

Might share some 'live' photos, but I didn't bring a real camera along on this trip so iPhone quality only.

Any guesses? Keep in mind it is one I have not seen yet if that helps narrow things down for anyone.

I can't remember how many Mclaren F1's I've seen...but I remember when:

1996 BPR Championship Monza
1997 FIA GT A1 Ring Austria
1997 FIA GT Mugello
1998 FIA GT A1 Ring Austria
2009 FOS Goodwood
2010 FOS Goodwood

What a fantastic car

Yes Phil - I do owe you at least a couple of replies. My apologies - I've had major things going on in my life lately and am having some real trouble keeping up with my usual distractions. I'll get back to you soon!

Unfortunatley no... I would have definitely brought along a camera on a trip like that.

Given you have provided dates and locations it wouldn't take too long for someone here to put a list of chassis numbers together for you.

Just a lucky guess, based on the F1s you hadn't seen that are in California.

I'd say:

1996 BPR Championship Monza - 03R, 11R, 06R, 12R, 05R, 15R
1997 FIA GT A1 Ring Austria - 21R, 23R, 25R, 28R, 27R, 22R
1997 FIA GT Mugello - 21R, 23R, 25R, 28R, 27R, 22R
1998 FIA GT A1 Ring Austria - 22R
2009 FOS Goodwood - 06R
2010 FOS Goodwood - 01R, 24R

Russ - how long ago did you see it and how much of the blue and yellow were left? Just the wheels, like in this photo?
