94 K1500 hesitation and flooding?
Hello I have a 94 chevy k1500 5.7tbi. Starts right up and idles just fine. Shut it off go to start it again wont start unless you hold the pedal to the floor then it will start ( with quite a cloud that'll burn your eyes ) but wont idle have to feather the gas and keep it above 2k for a couple of minutes then its fine again. Also ocassionally it has a slight hesitation on take off and lower speeds but no problems at highway speeds. CEL is on throwing codes 15 and 43. I know what the codes are for but not sure if either is my problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Very well could be your problem. Repair for code 15 and see how it does. And let us know how it goes.

The 43 code says....
One or both of the knock sensors were either open or grounded for 5 seconds. thats from troublecodes .net From your post I first thought it may be the Pressure Regulator, but im just a weekend knuckle buster
