Question Power loss after gas fill up and going through..

some water that was only deep enough to cause a rooster tail that came above the passenger fender when I was going through it kind of fast and I changed the spark plugs sunday and it did make a big difference but now there is still a slight power loss I am wondering what else I should try?

Can you be more descriptive of a "slight power loss"?

I would push down on the gas and it would accelerate a little slower then normal and I would have to shift down into 3rd from 4th where I normally would shift into if it was steep enough ( Mind you this is a 5spd Standard Transmission). But it would even do it on almost level ground sometimes, it has been doing this since my last gas fill up, Then I changed the Spark plugs on it and that helped considerably but it was still doing it a little bit though and then the last couple days it has slowly been getting better. I also put some shell gas into my car and that helped too now it seems to be gone so it may be it was bad gas or what else could of been?
I know I am still having starting problems though every once in a while?
