P0155 and P0155 p/d: what's the difference?
Hi everyone,
While much help has been posted here on the subject of P0155 errors, my 2003 S10 is showing not only a P0155 error but P0155 p/d (pending) is also appearing. Would this mean I have to replace something other than the Bank 2 sensor 1 O2 sensor? Thanks a million in advance. |

Quote:
Pending code is a problem that the computer has detcted and is preparing to set a hard /present code if the problem stays there. But a code does not say replace the part. ![]() A code points you to a certain problem and usually where the problem is. Then you need to test out that area to find problem. Can be a bad part or bad wiring or computer or even some thing else causing like fuel pressue or vacumn leak or engine miss that can make that part act up. Parts places offer free code scans and the will try to sell you parts for that code. But do not fall for that. ![]() Just get the free code and the get some good repair information that has the code repair flow chart and go threw the repair flow chart.

In your case with a 4.3 and a code 155 pretaing to 02 sensor heater circut bank 1 and 2 sensors.
First check would be heater circuit fuse and voltage to it and also ground.
