replaced the throttle body in my 2003 Chevy silverado yesterday evening and had no P1516 problems driving to work this morning. I did notice that the engine idles differently and was wondering if that had anything to do with "calibrating the throttle body" after replacement. I heard that you don't have to do this but if so, is there a procedure out there to follow?

idle should be 600 rpm in drive. also the idle should not drop when turning wheels or ac compressors cuts in.. 110% GM failure rate on the 2003 throttlebody drive by wire units.. |

Re: 2003 with P1516
Thanks for the information. I will give it a try. By the way I made it in two days in a row without any errors. Very cool.
