ETA I'll have a look tonight after work so I can see all the pics, damn work filters

You can add #003, #022, and #075 for Roger. I might also be forgetting one or two he has seen.

Re: How many McLaren F1s have you seen?

Can I abstain from answering to this thread please ........ as one does not wish to upset those who have not seen any yet. But I will say, that it doe,s not matter where in the world you are, this forum makes up for not being able see one in the carbon, so to speak

You can add #001 to the list Greg, Park Lane showroom

Hey Tak43, Silverstone 97, was there nine GTR,s and three road cars?....... was 05R there in the roof tile livery?

Yes that is #02R.

I have seen #02R race twice Donington and Silverstone

Yes that is #02R.

was 05R there in the roof tile livery? no thats 1998 its the MVR car in 1997

There was 2 Fina,3 Gulf.Parabolica, longtail and one short tail MVR,
Plus the road going long tail, le mans winner,XPLM1,XP5 makes a total of 9

So to my original total from 1995,1996,and 1997 i forgot to add 4 cars that was on static in 1996 and 4 car that was on static in 1997 so my total would be 33± as 2 cars in 1996 was road car and le mans winner and again and in 1997 was road car XPLM1 and le mans winner again so i have not counted these again if i do it would be 38±

I have seen more race cars than road cars

Re: How many McLaren F1s have you seen?

Yes - I would have had some halfway decent photos from Laguna Seca in 1997 but my camera was broken and the camera I thought I was going to borrow was needed for other things.

One of my friends brought his camera along but in the years that followed has managed to lose all his pics from the day including one I took of him licking the door of #21R or #23R in the paddock.

Re: How many McLaren F1s have you seen?

Here is my list:

Pretty sad really, isn't it. If I ever hear of a showing of #018 in Auckland/Taupo etc I will head there, but even though #049 lives about 10 miles away from me in a straight line I doubt I will ever see it

Re: How many McLaren F1s have you seen?

I'm kind of shocked how many people have seen #049 (basically none) given that at its last WOF inspection it had over 14,000 kms on it. Where is it being driven?
