Thanks to all. Took some doing but got problems fixed and everything back together. Problems were result of bad ignition switch. Thanks for all the help and to others with the same issues. If I can do this, anyone can with alittle patience.

Amazing how many of us have the same issues. GM engineers should take notes of the simple things like fit, finish, and ease of access. Guess that's why God gave us professional mechanics to handle the stuff us shadetree mechanics can't.
