1996 Outback rattle noise before and after shifting

Not sure exactly what it could be but I have this noise that happens before and after I shift. It doesn't usually happen when the car is cold but after a few blocks it starts. I believe that it could be the heat shield rattling against something but I am not totally sure. Just want to make sure that it isn't something more serious. The car drives perfectly fine once past the noise. It does rattle longer if I let off the gas and coast, when in neutral and just reving the car it does not occur. It's the 2.2 engine 5speed.
