ball joint replacement DIY or pay someone
Well the day i have been dreading has come my ball joints on the drivers side need to be replaced
and really its just the lower but with whats involved i would just as well do the top. Now i live in an apartment complex and they frown on you when they see you working on your vehicle plus i only have one parking space to work in and with the lack of proper tools i am thinking about just having a shop do it or find a shade tree and have him do it i went to 1 shop and they wanted 400 labor and $190 for the upper and $110 for the lower ball joints i laughed at the price on the joints i could get both online for less than 50 with a lifetime warranty. so should i try and do it myself or pay someone... your thoughts fellow jeepers.. And if anybody lives in the Kansas city area and can help me out let me know FYI i found a shade tree that would do BOTH sides for $350 comes with 12/12 warranty on the labor |
